Olivia Toderan - Internship

Olivia Toderan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Health, and Society from the University of Michigan, with a minor in Science, Technology, and Society. As an intern at DORF, she supported a clinical outcomes study evaluating the MicroPort Nexus Femoral Stem by collecting and managing Patient-Reported Outcome Measures throughout the preoperative and postoperative follow-up period. Olivia continues to contribute to current and upcoming research projects while pursuing her goal of attending physician assistant school.

Jacob Thomas - Internship

Jacob Thomas is a second-year medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. His research interests are focused on orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, with projects examining the management of lateral process of the talus fractures, outcomes following ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, and return-to-play timelines after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. He hopes to continue making meaningful scientific contributions while expanding his knowledge of orthopedics and developing as a future physician.
